Proof for a purpose of life

Hello Dear Reader,

As you read my article, you have a purpose. Your purpose is to read the article. However, you don't do it just for the sake of it. You have some higher purpose. For example, you would like to know my thoughts on various subjects, find the typos, or just relax with a help of a cup of coffee. Even those latter purposes have some higher purposes - you want to know my thoughts to compare them with yours, find a typos to help me improving the article, relax to have a good time, etc. Do you see? There always seems to exist some higher purpose.

When you relax, you may be so tired on the beginning that you don't even think why you do this - you just fall on a chair without expecting anything spectacular. But the higher purpose is always there.

Did you notice that your actions are always driven by emotions to some degree? You want to relax because your emotions prompt you to do so - you basically feel bad and have a hope your emotions will improve as a result. Similarly, you won't read anything if you aren't interested by it.

Your emotions play a crucial role in your decisions. They are not written in stone, but they guide to your best decisions based on your current beliefs. For example, when you think a spider can injure you, you will fear spiders. You wouldn't fear it if your belief was that it is a harmless animal. What continuously make it seem harmful is your unwinlingness to change your thoughts that constitute the belief.

As in the example of relaxation, bad emotions indicate that something bad happens to you. Similarly, good emotions indicate that something good happens to you. Since a fulfillment of the purpose of life must be better than anything else, it must be seeked where the best emotions are. What are the circumstances when people feel better than ever? It's simple - people love to laugh. Just find someone who doesn't love to laugh.

The best definition of laughter that I found is "a physical reaction caused by rejection of falseness". This means that a person who recognizes the falseness immediately reacts to it by laughing. However, because he recognized the falseness, he now knows the truth. Therefore, the definition can be rephrased as "a physical reaction caused by recognition of truth". Therefore, the purpose of life is to recognize all the truth. Then, you will burst out laughing whenever you want. Isn't life beautiful?
